Beginning his career in retail branch operations and cash management—where his teams consistently secured top audit ratings and Chief General Managers Club selections—he advanced to become an Investment Professional in Mumbai. There, he was responsible for proprietary trading in Government Securities and Corporate Bonds, actively managing a massive liquid investment portfolio of around 10,000 crores. In this role, he strategically oversaw treasury functions, asset/liability maturity patterns, macro-economic risk assessments, and taxation compliance. His leadership continued to expand as a Branch Manager focused on performance-oriented systems and fraud alleviation, followed by nearly five years as a Faculty Lecturer shaping the next generation of banking professionals. Prior to his current international posting as CFO of SBI Singapore, he served as a Regional Manager in the Greater Hyderabad Area. Throughout his journey, he has played a pivotal role in formulating internal policies, ensuring strict regulatory compliance, and driving systems implementation across complex banking ecosystems.
